I neglected to leave the poll open the first time around

So here we go again

WE can finally set this issue to rest. Tito > GSP

Who's more exciting? Tito or GSP

Rogan knows the deal

If Tito wins his next fight' date=' I'll send you an e-beer.

I have a feeling no e-beer will be needed, but I guess it depends on who his next opponent is. :D[/quote']

I'm glad yo beat him...

Ive never beaten Mule once... :(

Gotta take the big risks!

I was thinking about taking more sig bets but I figured if I lost my sig would be so crowded I couldn't honor some of them

I went from 1-1-0 (1) to 4-1-0 (1) in one fell swoop

I strongly strongly considered making a TUF1 style "This fight is a retirement fight" thread .. but I stuck with "If Tito get's TKO'd or KO'd I won't post here for a month"

TLC_Match619 straight up left when Tito lost to Hamill ... I have to see this thing through

Easiest vote I ever made, Tito is far more exciting. GSP is BORING. His 5 fight skid was more exciting than GSP. As short as that fight was last night it was still way more exciting than GSP's last 3 fights put together, that's 15 rounds of boring. Pathetic

I must have your number.

It's okay bro' date=' you take big risks -- you have a set that not even a military-grade missile could penetrate. Your girlfriend told me.

As for your sig, just put "GSP > Diaz". :)[/quote']

Bro you are too nice with your sigs...

I was expecting something horrid... & just when i thought i may finally get a win

over you, stupid Stun Gun gets KTFO...

Oh well, there is always next time... :(

oh another i cant stop bashing gsp thread, complete with a who do you hate out of envy more poll. seen too many of them from the same people yet nothing new ever brought to the table

but anyways i disagree with troll topic and some of the ideas constructed, for instance guy above saying tito doesnt fight one sided fights. well i could be a **** too and say for the last 6 years tito's fights have all been one sided - he hasn't won any of them. But i'm not going to ruin the moment. let the tito fans soak it up while they can

now mma has evolved and not everybody fights stupid enough to get themselves knocked out all of the time and handing their opponent a nice fat paycheck. chuck and tito were great in their day when nobody had a black belt in jiujitsu complete with an extensive wrestling background and wicked boxing skills.

dont see how tito>gsp. tito went nearly 6 years without a win. the way gsp fights, he may be smart enough to go 6 years without a loss. Out of 26 fights, tito loses 1 in every 3 of them on average, out of 24 fights gsp has only lost two fights and avenged both losses. You can't even compare the two.

One was good in his prime and then went on a slump, and the other hasn't even reached the pinnacle of his career yet. One guy has a mouth, some powerful striking and a whole lot of grappling skills, the other guy has class, good striking but better grappling that can make him take the fight wherever he wants against those kind of strikers. One guy sits and waits to go into a fight against somebody worthy of challenging him for the title, while the other goes into a fight on the chopping block hoping Dana doesnt cut him.

in this typical gsp bashing thread, what you should have just put for the poll title is 'who do you like more?' they are polar opposites. Tito was good and now he is on his way out. GSP has already owned his division, and should have a good 10 years of fighting left in him. Like it or not, by the time GSP retires, he will have built a legacy and will have done much more in the sport than Tito Ortiz could ever dream of. He already has more consecutive title defenses and his record is much more consistant, so how much better is Tito than GSP?

give it 10 years and gsp could still be fighting with all of his teeth. he doesnt put himself in the position of being knocked out that often and people don't like that. who cares.

What is more worth it the end? Being able to fight using all of the tools in your shed and working over your opponent in a dominating fashion while continuing on your a legacy, or only deciding to stand up and trade to see who gets knocked out first, while having your career cut short from concussions and sounding like a modern day Rocky Balboa, just for the sake of pleasing some knockout thirsty fans???

Sure nobody loves a fighter that fights smart and utilizes a gameplan that will outsmart and outwork his opponent, but let the haters keep on hating. Maybe if guys like chuck, wandy arlovski, mark coleman and ken shamrock were to try the same approach and fight a little smarter, they might not get knocked out as often and we would still be seeing them fight more often, and for james toney and ken shamrocks sake, maybe they wouldnt end up brain damaged either from their wreckless style of brawling.

I'm so glad this thread illicited at least one wall of text. Especially one that missed the entire point of the thread.
