Dark_Horse
It seems more and more that these guys are showing blatant bias towards fighters. I know this is probably Dana telling them to, but it's not helping MMA become mainstream. If anything, it's making the UFC more like the WWE. It first pissed me off in the Paulo Thiago vs Koscheck fight. I loved it when Paulo KTFO'd Josh, not just becuase I hate Josh, but also because of their ridiculous brown nosing of Koscheck. Fast forward to 132, Blatant bias for Wandy, Wiman and Faber. It made me actually shout STFU at the T.V. due to some commentator comments. Then you also have the guys who come on here afterwards spouting the same crap, trying to show how much they know about MMA, while at the same time making themselves look like morons. Discuss. KingOfAllFighting
Mike Goldberg knows F all about MMA and fighting in general... He's a clown. Rogan and Bas Rutten and maybe even a third would be good.

Discuss.[/quote'] I know what you mean entirely, I like the guys but it gets annoying. I saw it in the Winner vs Njokuani. Yeah Njokuani dominated, but there was barely a mention of the heart Winner showed and how he even survived, yeah they mentioned it a bit, but with there noses so far up Njokuani's... erm rear, it was kinda hard to hear.. I also agree with with you about Siver vs Wiman, they were writing of Sive after the end of round one, and I had him winning that round!
ALEXMMA
It depends how you look at it. Rogan and Goldie talk more about the guy who is winning the fight because he is WINNING. If the other guy is doing nothing they aren't going to talk about him. And in the case of the Paulo Thiago - Koscheck fight, they talked more about Koscheck because they didn't know anything about Paulo Thiago, it was his debut. I didn't notice it at all at 132. I think you are just really easily annoyed, either that or you are just looking for something to whine about.
bjrj235
I am a Faber fan but i did notice it during his fight with Cruz. Urijah was doing well but Dominic was clearly winning the fight. The biggest thing Urijah had going for him is the knock downs but that was about it but still an entertaining fight.
Psycho_MMA
They have to hype their future champs/ top contenders so they are bigger draws when they are on the main cards... Goldie and Rogan do a great job at hyping fighters before and during fights to keep watchers interested get off their backs they are better then SF and Bellator commentators

PuffDaddy92
have to agree with 1 of the first comments goldbergs quite funny but he doesnt really have a clue he say some outrageous things quite regularly they should defo have rogan and bas rutten... or mauro ranallo hes a more clued up goldy character
Dark_Horse
My point is, these guys are supposed to be professional. That means no bias. I can't remember any commentators acting the same way outside of professional wrestling.
russadams
Yeah Rogan definitely does seem to have his favourites who sometimes seem to always be "winning" the fight, regardless of whats happening in the octagon.
KTFOOO
Get some retired fighters to call or a "guest" retired fighter every event. I agree that they do show some bias for certain fighters but as long as its not overdone. At least rogan knows something about fighting, Goldie is like a parrot sometimes. They are the best two at the moment out of all the MMA commentators. SF are terrible.
BESERKER
... they are very difficult to endure, we mute whenever possible -
JR40
Their fans of MMA which means they are going to be fans of certain fighters which means they will have bias. This is actually a really good point. In a close fight I would say everyone would just about say there man has won it. I can admit that I do it when the fights are close. I think they also do a good job of keeping the fans on the edge of their seats, mainly Rogan, and that is part of their job. They need to be as entertaining as possible. Yes Rogan and Goldie said Wiman was winning the fight but the crowd couldn't hear what they were saying and they certainly agreed with the commentators.
