JP24 Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 It wasn't long ago when everyone was complaining about Wrestling being the most trained discipline simply because it's the easiest way to win a fight, but if it's not just me imagining things, MMA seems to be going in a different direction. Suddenly there's a bunch of dudes who can stay on their feet no matter how hard the other guy tries to drag him to the ground. Does anyone else notice this? I don't think the "Wrestling Era", if you will, will be over for a while, but I see more people who can defend takedowns come up. It turns out that there are guys in every division who are hovering around in the top 10 that are extremely hard to take down, and even harder to keep down.
